Anshul Sharma, who has worked on Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety and Tu Jhoothi Main Makkaar, will make his directorial debut with De De Pyaar De 2, which was penned by Luv Ranjan and Tarun Jain.
Ajay Devgn, Tabu, and Rakul Preet Singh collaborated on the Akiv Ali film De De Pyaar De, which was directed by the trio of Luv Ranjan, Ankur Garg, and Bhushan Kumar. De De Pyaar De 2 is being worked on and is anticipated to begin filming early in the next year, according to sources familiar with the project. “Luv Ranjan and Ajay Devgn recently met to discuss the details of De De Pyaar De 2. De De Pyaar De Luv Ranjan and Tarun Jain’s writers have created a storyline that serves as an appropriate sequel to the movie and actually amps up the drama. “The sequel is about the reaction of Ayesha’s family to the relationship with a 50-year-old, where the first part dealt with Ashish’s (Ajay Devgn) side of the family to accept his relationship with 26-year-old Ayesha Khurana (Rakul Preet Singh),” disclosed a source close to the project.

If everything goes according to plan, DDPD 2 will be Ajay Devgn’s next film to begin production following Singham Again, which was directed by Rohit Shetty.
