Aishwarya Rajesh to get Police Protection

Aishwarya Rajesh receives police protection in the wake of the Farhana controversy. The movie, which debuted in theatres on May 12, has been dubbed “anti-Islamic”.

Aishwarya Rajesh is currently making headlines due to the ongoing controversy surrounding her most recent movie, Farhana. The film, according to the Muslim origins, unfairly disparages the Muslim community. Several Muslim organisations, such as the Indian National League (INL), referred to the movie as “anti-Islamic” because of her portrayal. Police security has now been given to the actress amidst the issue.

According to rumours, Aishwarya has received police protection as a result of the issue, much like actress Adah Sharma did with her play The Kerala Story. She plays the part of Farhana, a Call Centre employee who works with phone sex services, under the direction of Nelson Venkatesan.

The Farhana film’s creators also responded to the squabble and clarified their position in a statement. It says, “Controversies about Farhana, which have been adequately repressed by the government authority, have caused us considerable sorrow. Farhana has nothing against any particular religion or its adherents. Our goal is to only offer high-quality films; we never endorse material that is offensive to a particular religion’s sentiments or beliefs. And we never have permitted stories that are hostile to humanity and humaneness, nor do we desire them.

We believe that those of our brothers and sisters who are stirring up controversy around our film ought to be aware of this. Our Tamil Nadu is a land that values art and is a haven for religious peace. Because doing so could lead to misconceptions and controversy, it is improper to object to a censored movie before it is released. It will give people who oppose it the impression that they lack knowledge. A movie is the result of the labour of over a hundred people. Tamil moviegoers will support a flawless production.

Recently, Aishwarya Rajesh talked openly about the movie and her role in an exclusive interview “Farhana as such itself is unique,” she remarked. I was really offended by the concept when I first heard it. This script couldn’t be more different. It was not a typical movie, and playing the performing part was also a highly demanding one. As Farhana is the one character I couldn’t relate to my true persona because she is so different, the movie will be quite experimental.
