Aishwarya Rai Talks about her Roles in PS 2 and Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam..

Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, a Bollywood actress, remembered performing Nandini in both Ponniyin Selvan 2 and Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam.

Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, a Bollywood actress, is a well-known figure in the movie business. She has cooperated with a number of directors, but the renowned Mani Ratnam is a frequent partner. This month sees the release of her second movie, Ponniyin Selvan.

It’s interesting to see a similarity between her character in this historical drama and Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam, directed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali. The character name Nandhini is the same in both movies. Fans were completely in awe of Salman and Aishwarya’s on-screen chemistry in SLB’s movie, which became a hit and even led to the couple starting to date.

Aishwarya Rai Bachchan recalls portraying Nandini in both films during the promotional event for Ponniyin Selvan 2 on Tuesday. She said, “What a coincidence. It’s amazing, na? Even Nandini in Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam was very, very memorable. She has lived in people’s hearts, and I’m so thankful that I got to play Nandini then too. She had remained special to the audience and, of course, to me. That was Sanjay Bhansali ji, and today, for my Mani Garu, I got to play Nandini in Ponniyin Selvan. That’s just tremendously a blessing to have gotten to play such strong women, such layered women and women with a character that touches the lives of so many women out there. There’s reliability, and I am very, very, very grateful.”

Aishwarya stated that she was able to reprise her role as Nandini due of Mani Ratnam. She described getting the opportunity to portray such a strong woman on TV as a blessing. She declared that if Mani Ratnam ever makes her an offer, she will always accept it.

She said, “It’s a natural yes. Jab bhi poochenge, jawab ha hi hoga. That’s a given. Ab ise guru bhakti kahe, shraddha kahe, kritagyata kahe ya pyaar kahe. You can label it whatever you want.”
