Aishwarya Lekshmi Chose Films Over Her Parents Dream

Aishwarya Lekshmi built a successful career in South Indian cinema despite choosing a different path from what her parents had planned for her.

After completing her MBBS she decided to enter the film industry instead of becoming a doctor for sure. Filmmaker and actor Allepey Ashraf recently spoke about Aishwarya’s career choice.

According to him, her parents who were government employees, wanted their only daughter to become a doctor and later marry a doctor.

However Aishwarya developed interest in modelling while completing her house surgeon duties which eventually led her to films. She made her acting debut with Njandukalude Naatil Oridavela.

She was recently seen in Maaman and Thug Life and is part of upcoming projects including SYG – Sambarala Yeti Gattu and Aasha.
