In a nostalgic chat, Sonam Kapoor discussed how, after Aisha, many thought she was a “spoiled brat.”
Sonam Kapoor, the seasoned actor Anil Kapoor’s daughter, has been in the business for more than 15 years. She has also produced some stunning Hindi rom-coms during her time, like Aisha and I Hate Luv Story. She has established her talent as an actress over time. But, after giving a strong performance in Aisha, the actress explained how people began to think she was a “spoiled brat”.
Sonam had taken a break from acting in films when she was pregnant and after becoming a mother. Nonetheless, the actress already has projects scheduled, beginning with Blind, which is slated to premiere soon.
Reddit has posted a 2018 interview with Sonam Kapoor in which she discusses her feelings following the success of her film Aisha. Talking about it, she said that many truly started to believe she was a ‘spoiled brat’ as she was so convincing in her character. I was up until Delhi 6,” she remarked. Afterwards I worked on a movie called Aisha. I played the character so convincingly that some people actually began to assume I was an entitled, spoilt brat. At the age of 23, I was unable to realise that it was a praise.
As soon as the video became viral, internet users began to respond to her statement in a variety of ways. “Dude, we call Urvashi delusional,” one person wrote. Sonam can certainly compete with her.
She was so dedicated to playing Aisha, according to one commenter, that she is still acting the part. RESPECT. Her dedication to her craft is incredibly remarkable. Definitely among our best.
According to one of the remarks, “Jhanvi and Ananya are overrated. Sonam is the genuine delusional nepo.
But, a few others showed up to voice their support for Sonam Kapoor. She is not only an actress, but also a fashionista. One of her followers added, “But at least Sonam had a personality and gave original meme content. She also had a wonderful sense of fashion. As Kangu observed, girls of days are genuinely like “uble huye ande.”
