Samantha made her OTT debut in Telugu when she hosted her talk show, Sam Jam, for Aha. The show turned out to be a runaways success for the OTT platform, featuring a wide range of celebrity guests featuring in it.
According to the latest reports, Aha is in plans to get Samantha on board once again, for a web series this time, with a leading role for Samantha. Samantha’s major digital debut was The Family Man 2, in which she played a Tamil Eelam, and received tremendous acclaim for her performance. Ever since then, the actress has been reportedly getting various offers from OTT platforms but has been rejecting them as she hasn’t found the right script.
On the other hand, Samantha has recently agreed to several projects, following her split with her husband Naga Chaitanya. She will also be seen in the magnum opus Shaakuntalam, directed by Gunasekhar, in which she will be seen playing Shakuntala.
