Aha is taking the business far more seriously now. It has turned aggressive. Recently Bhanumathi and Ramakrishna got released in their platform directly to the positive response. It has given the much-needed boost to the OTT platform. According to the late info, the Aha platform has acquired the digital rights of another small movie. It is titled Johaar and it would be released very soon on Aha. The promotional activities will begin soon.
Johaar is directed by Teja Marni. Ankith, Esther, Naina Ganguly played the lead roles in the movie. Though makers initially thought to have theatrical release first, current conditions made them go for OTT release. Allu Aravind is also in talks with several small filmmakers who are waiting for their movie releases. It is said that Allu Aravind is planning to buy at least 20 small films over the next 4 to 5 months. If Johaar turns out to be a success, then Allu Aravind might be more aggressive in buying small movies.
