According to a recent source, the CBFC has sent eight objections to Akhil Akkineni’s agent.
This Friday, April 28, Surender Reddy’s much anticipated spy action thriller, starring the young and vivacious Akhil Akkineni, is scheduled to enter theatres. The movie, which also stars Mammootty, Dino Morea, and Sakhi Vaidya in significant parts, endured numerous delays as a result of COVID-19 but is now ready for a Telugu and Malayalam theatrical release.
We came across media reports about the complaints the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) had brought against the movie with only a few days until its release.
According to a report, the CBFC objected to Agent by Akhil Akkineni eight times. According to the source, a few expletives have been muted in the Mammootty, Dino Morea, and Sakshi Vaidya co-starring movie to adhere to legal requirements.
But Agent still has more to do. A few violent moments from the Akhil Akkineni-led spy action thriller have also been blacked in addition to the alterations mentioned above to protect the audience. According to earlier media reports, the movie, which stars Urvashi Rautela in the song “Wild Saala,” has received a U/A censor certificate and is 156 minutes, or 2 hours and 36 minutes, long.
Speaking of Agent, a media source from 2021 claims that Akkineni’s espionage role was influenced by Jason Bourne from the American-German film series Bourne. It was filmed in a variety of interesting places, including Budapest, Hyderabad, and Oman. Dino Morea makes his Telugu film debut in the movie, which also features him as the villain.
Recently, Agent’s seductive song “Wild Saala,” which features Urvashi Rautela and Akhil Akkineni, was made available. With some excellent hook steps and charm, Urvashi has danced her way directly into the hearts of the people in it.
