It is widely known that hero Akhil Akkineni’s upcoming pan-India film, Agent, under the direction of Surender Reddy is scheduled for April 28, 2023 release. A few days back, the team has even kick-started promotions and unveiled the first single from the audio album. Titled Malli Malli, the song is an instant hit among the music lovers.
A couple of days back the team left for a foreign country to shoot a chase sequence and a lavish fight episode. On the other hand, the pre-release business for the film is also underway at a rapid pace. As per our sources the pre-release business for Agent for the entire Andhra Pradesh, Telangana and Karnataka is closed for Rs 34 crore.
Reportedly, Vizag based distribution house Gayatri Devi Films snapped the deal. Now, the latest we hear is that Thrissur based Yulin Productions has bagged the distribution rights of Agent for the entire Kerala for a fancy price. We had already reported that noted OTT platform SonyLIV has acquired the post-theatrical streaming rights of the film.
Being produced by Anil Sunkara in association with Surender Reddy, Agent has young Mumbai model Sakshi Vaidya as the female lead. Agent also stars Mammootty, Dino Morea, and Vikramjeet Virk in key roles. Hiphop Tamizha is the music composer. Rasool Ellore is the cinematographer.
