Kriti Shetty, the rising star of Telugu cinema who shot to fame with “Uppena,” has recently faced a string of unsuccessful projects. Currently, she only has Sharwanand’s unreleased movie “Maname” in her Tollywood lineup. However, there’s intriguing news on the horizon.
Reports suggest that Mythri Movie Makers, the producers of “Uppena,” are considering Kriti Shetty for a pivotal role in the upcoming film featuring Mass Raja Raviteja, directed by Gopichand Malineni.
Originally, Rashmika Mandanna was slated to be the leading lady but opted out, much like in the case of another film produced by the same house starring Nithin and directed by Venky Kudumula. If Kriti Shetty secures this role opposite Raviteja in the Malineni-directed movie, she is bound to regain significant attention in the industry.
While the makers have revealed that Tamil actress Idhuja will play a crucial part in the film, they have kept the female lead’s name under wraps. Notably, the film’s pooja ceremony was conducted without the presence of the main heroine, leaving fans in suspense about the final casting decision. The outcome remains to be seen.
