Rishab Shetty has been trending for a reason after his Hyderabad speech. He spoke in Kannada, which upset many Telugu Viewers and sparked trolling with boycott slogans.
Realizing the damage, Rishab changed his approach at the Vijayawada event. He explained that Telugu and Kannada are like sibling languages and clarified it was not disrespect but his lack of fluency.
He promised that by the release of his next film Jai Hanuman he will speak better Telugu, earning applause from fans.
He also thanked Prabhas, NTR, Pawan Kalyan and Chandrababu Naidu for their support. This time, unlike Hyderabad he kept his words short and mostly in Telugu showing he took criticism to heart.
Now, focus shifts to Kantara Chapter 1, whose premieres begin soon. With high expectations, late bookings and costly tickets in AP, the film faces hype and pressure.
