Mega Star Chiranjeevi is currently playing the lead role in the movie Acharya. Koratala Siva is the director of the movie and Kajal Aggarwal will play the female lead role. The movie has resumed shooting and Chiranjeevi will join the sets very soon.
From the past couple of months, there have been speculations that Chiranjeevi will be doing two remakes simultaneously. He is interested in the Malayalam remake Lucifer and the Tamil remake Vedhalam. While VV Vinayak is on board for the Lucifer remake, Meher Ramesh will direct the Vedhalam remake. Bobby will direct another film with Chiranjeevi.
Recently, it was said that Vinayak has walked out of the Lucifer remake due to creative differences. Now the news is that even Bobby’s film was put on hold. Apparently, Chiranjeevi was not fully satisfied with the changes made by Bobby. So he has put that on hold and asked Bobby to better the version.
So, after Acharya, Chiranjeevi’s immediate project will be the Vedhalam remake.
