After 21 years, Indian girl becomes ‘Miss Universe’

Indian model named Harnaaz Sandhu is crowned with the Miss Universe title for the year 2021. Harnaaz Sandhu has been declared as the Miss Universe at the 70th Miss Universe 2021 event held at Eilat, Israel.

The 21-year-old Harnaaz Sandhu hails from Punjab and she received the crown from former Miss Universe, Mexico beauty Andrea Meza. Harnaaz Sandhu faced tough competition from Paraguay’s Nadia Ferreira and South Africa’s Lalela Mswane and won the Miss Universe title.

Harnaaz Sandhu becomes the third Indian lady to bring the coveted crown after Sushmita Sen(1994) and Lara Dutta(2000).
