GV Prakash Kumar and Saindhavi, popular figures in Tamil music, have officially finalized their divorce after 12 years of marriage. The Chennai Family Court completed the process following a six-month cooling-off period.
The couple has agreed that Saindhavi will have custody of their daughter Anvi, while both parents plan to co-parent peacefully. GV Prakash and Saindhavi first became friends in school then tied the knot in 2013 and welcomed their daughter in 2020.
After more than a decade together they decided and wanted to part ways and announced their separation on May 13, 2024.
Even after their personal differences they together performed at GV Prakash’s December 2024 concert showing a professional and amicable approach before officially filing for divorce in March 2025.
Now viewers are looking forward to enjoy new music and performances from both Prakash and Saindhavi in the future.
