Actor Adivi Sesh’s much-awaited movie, Major, a biopic on 26/11 Mumbai Terror Attacks hero Sandeep Unnikrishnan has recently wrapped the entire shooting formalities. The film was earlier scheduled for a June 2nd release but the Covid second wave distrubed the shooting and release plans.
Meanwhile, the latest news is that the makers have announced that the film will now hit the screens on February 11, 2022. Confirming the same, Adivi Sesh made an official announcement through his social media platforms. Being directed by Sashi Tikka, the film has Saiee Manjrekar as the female lead. Sobhita Dhulipala will be seen in a key role.
Sony Pictures India, Mahesh Babu’s GMB Entertainments and AplusS Movies banners are jointly bankrolling this pan-India project.
