Adivi Sesh has always made different films throughout his career and established himself as one of the most promising talents in the industry. He is now gearing up for the release of his upcoming film Major, which is based on the life of Major Sandeep Unnikrishnan, who sacrificed himself during the 26/11 attacks in Mumbai. The movie is directed by Sashi Kiran Tikka and is all set to be released on June 3rd in all major Indian languages.
At the promotional event for the film, recently held in Mumbai, when Sesh was asked about the ongoing debate regarding the domination of South Indian films in the North, he said that South films work because their content caters to the entire Indian audience. While Sesh’s delivery of the statement might have been normal, it is clearly a subtle sarcastic jibe at Bollywood, which has been failing to hit the mark for quite some time now.
On the other hand, Major has good expectations on it, and the trailer and teasers have also received a good response from the audience. Saiee Manjrekar is the leading lady of the film, which also features Revathi, Prakash Raj, Murali Sharma, and Shobita Dhulipala in key roles.
