Aditya and four other people have reportedly been called as witnesses by the sessions, although the actor’s status as a witness has changed.
The CBI notified a special court that they are dismissing Aditya Pancholi as a witness in the Jiah Khan suicide case, according to a report by the Free Press Journal. According to the statement, the agency’s prosecutor Manoj Chauhan said that the witness had been “won over” by the defendants and that questioning him would only weaken their defence. According to the article, they have also dropped a further witness who had previously provided household assistance to Sooraj Pancholi’s family.
The testimony of Aditya Pancholi, recorded by the Juhu Police, reveals that he and Sooraj visited Jiah Khan’s mother after the actress’ suicide. Rabia‘s counsel Shekhar Jagtap said they will urge that CBI doesn’t examine him, but before they could officially file it, the prosecution chose to drop him and told the court.
Sooraj Pancholi debuted with Hero in 2015 for the uninitiated. He even received a Filmfare Award for his first role after Jiah Khan passed away. In 2021’s Time To Dance, he last appeared.
