Aditi Rao Hydari couldn’t find the amount of work as she would have wanted early in her career in Hindi and even though she is highly talented, she got ignored. But she found her success in Hindi and Southern films, lately. Mani Ratnam, the Most Prolific director of Indian Cinema, presented her in such a way that she got noticed by everyone who ignored her before. His films Cheliyaa and Chekka Chivantha Vaanam worked well for her to find better work in Telugu and Tamil, languages.
She talked the time she had to sit idle and got bullied by makers in one of her interviews. She said that she faced so much negativity that she did not know what to do. Whether to speak out or not, has become her major problem, it seems. Later she addressed the issue of casting couch and said that she never faced it but there are enough evidences for people to take it seriously and act on it, to prevent it or even eradicate it. She said that many women had to navigate through such vultures and that shouldn’t be happening.
