There is news the other day that Rebel Star Prabhas’s upcoming mythological drama Adi Purush shoot will be commenced from January 2021. The news is that the Adi Purush shoot will be completed within 4-5 months of its start. The entire shoot will be done indoors and by using Green Matte technology. A record number of VFX shots will be used in this movie. It is said that the shots will be much more than Baahubali and Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy which holds the record for the highest VFX shots used in Indian Cinema to date.
For Baahubali, around 2,300 VFX shots were used and for Sye Raa around 3,800 VFX shots are there. Now, Adi Purush is going to beat both of them. The number is still unclear though. Om Raut is the director of this movie which will be based on the Indian epic Ramayana. Saif Ali Khan will be playing the role of Lankesh, Ravanasur. More details expected soon.
