Adipurush has gained support from the internet after a leaked trailer went viral. This is how internet users responded.
Adipurush, starring Prabhas, Kriti Sanon, and Saif Ali Khan, is scheduled to hit theatres in June. On May 9, at 1:24 PM, the movie’s trailer was due to debut. However, the Adipurush trailer leaked online and was widely available yesterday night after the key actors went to a screening of it in a Hyderabad venue just for fans.
But because of Prabhas’ devoted followers, the teaser, which is slated to be released on YouTube in all languages in the afternoon, is currently unavailable. As soon as the trailer leaked, the Adipurush crew and Prabhas supporters decided to remove all the widely shared web sources and connections to ensure that the planned launch won’t get affected
Fans thanked one another on Twitter for stopping the leak of the Adipurush Trailer footage. “Thank you to all of the adoring fans and the #Adipurush crew that worked to stop the video leak. Many, many thanks. Now we await the appropriate launch. Today’s hashtag on Twitter was “#JaiShriRam #AdipurushTrailer”.
Although the links to the leaked trailer have been taken down, reactions to the trailer are still present in Twitter, attesting to a blockbuster magnum opus. “Adipurush leaked trailer… goosebumps”, reacted a user. Another post said, “The leaked trailer is screaming a tagda BLOCKBUSTER! Kya lagta hai?” A third user wrote, “Even though the leaked video is not in there mother tongue but they are feeling it from the heart.”
“#AdipurushTrailer trailer is much better than the teaser.. Hindi mein at least 200cr is confirmed”, one more user reacted
People even shared images from the in-theater trailer preview.
Adipurush, a sacred text for the Hindu religion, is based on the great legendary tale Ramayana for the uninitiated. In the movie, Prabhas portrays Lord Ram, and Kriti Sanon plays Sita as Janaki. Saif Ali Khan portrays Lankesh Ravana, the primary antagonist, while Sunny Singh plays Lakshman Shesh. The movie was slated to hit theatres in January of this year, but after a preview was released online last year, it received a lot of internet abuse and was criticised for having poor visual effects.
In order to correct the errors and address the audience criticism, director Om Raut suspended the promotional campaign. Fans have been waiting for the Adipurush Trailer, which is set to release today in all languages, ever since the new teaser, which was quite amazing. The 3D release date for the movie is set for June 16, 2023.
