Adipurush release, a doubtful act

Pan-India star Prabhas is making his Bollywood debut with a mythological drama titled, Adipurush. Directed by Om Raut, the film is supposed to hit the screens on August 11, 2022 but is postponed due to the delay in the post-production activities.

Later, the makers locked January 12, 2023 as the film’s release date. But in his recent online interaction, Om Raut revealed that he and his team are working round the clock on the project for the past few months. He also said that the VFX and graphics work is taking more time than expected. Though Om Raut didn’t directly said that the film’s release will be postponed, his statement gives hint that Adipurush will be postponed yet again for sure.

Being bankrolled by T-Series banner, Adipurush has Kriti Sanon, Sunny Singh and Saif Ali Khan in goddess Sita, Laxmana and Lankesh roles respectively.
