Prabhas’s much-awaited film, Radhe Shyam, was released on March 11th, after a lot of anticipation, and now, his upcoming film, Adipurush, has everyone intrigued. Directed by Om Raut, Adipurush features Prabhas playing Lord Ram, while Kriti Sanon would be playing Sita, with Saif Ali Khan set to be seen as Raavan.
The shooting for the film wrapped up some time ago, and the post-production works of the film are currently going on. The film is scheduled to be released for Sankranthi 2023, on January 12th. The film is being produced by Bhushan Kumar under the T Series banner and is being made on a massive budget. According to the latest reports, the first look of Prabhas as Lord Ram from Adipurush is expected to be revealed on April 10th, on the occasion of Sri Rama Navami.
On the other hand, Adipurush director Om Raut clarified much earlier that the film is inspired by Ramayana, and that it wouldn’t be Ramayana itself. Apart from Adipurush, Prabhas also has Salaar and Project K in the making, with the latter two still in production stages.
