Following the modifications to Adipurush’s Telugu state rights, producer Dil Raju appears to have withdrawn from the movie’s distribution.
Dil Raju, also known as Velamakucha Venkata Ramana Reddy, is one of India’s top producers. The distributor is well-known for his support of the Telugu cinema industry and owns Sri Venkateswara Creations, his production firm. Adipurush, starring Prabhas and Kriti Sanon in the key parts, was intended to be released and distributed by him in Nizam and Uttarandhra. The producer was quite happy and even thought that the movie would be as popular as Baahubali. However, it appears that the situation has changed, and he will no longer be involved in the film’s distribution.
Raju once said that he recalls people making fun of Baahubali: The Beginning, but things quickly changed. He had similar expectations for Adipurush.
According to a report, it all started when UV Films transferred Adipurush’s Telugu state rights to People Media Factory. The production business is purportedly asking for exorbitant sums of money, forcing Dil Raju to back out. The producer reportedly quoted 60 crores in Nizam and 22 crores in Uttarandhra, according to the portal. Even while changes in distribution and price negotiations are frequent for high-budget films, Raju’s failure to influence events in his favor is startling.
It could all be related to Dil Raju’s current struggles with his just-released movie. Rajesh Manna discussed how he misread the response to the Shakuntalam starring Samantha Ruth Prabhu movie in an interview with him on his YouTube channel. He has also urged producers to pause their work and reconsider the films they would be showing to audiences because recent years have seen a significant shift in public opinion.
Tomorrow night in Tirupathi, there will be a large pre-release event for Adipurush. The second trailer for the movie, which will feature numerous stunning action moments, will also be released, according to the filmmakers.
