Actor Vishal got arrested by Chennai Police for creating ruckus at the Producer’s Council office that had been locked by the producers who are opposing Vishal and asking for his resignation.
The actor tweeted about the arrest and said that he is being targeted for malicious interests and to stop Ilayaraja concert that the Producer’s Council planned to conduct at a big level to collect funds to help the producers.
“Police who were mute yesterday when unauthorized ppl locked the doors & gates of TFPC have arrested me & my colleague today for no fault of ours, absolutely unbelievable
We will fight back, will do everything to conduct Ilayaraja sir event & raise funds to help Producers in distress”

The actor is holding the office as president of Tamil Film Producer’s Council and General Secretary of Nadigar Sangam.
