Actor Raj Arjun to debut in the Malayalam industry

Actor Raj Arjun, from Secret Superstar, is prepared to make his Malayalam film debut with Khajuraho Dreams.

Raj Arjun, the star of “Secret Superstar,” who has also worked in the Hindi, Telugu, and Tamil film industries, will soon make his Malayalam film debut with “Khajuraho Dreams.” The movie, which is being directed by Manoj Vasudev and produced by Abdurahiman S.P., will be released in theatres in May of this year.

The actor will be essaying the role of a responsible village head, who fights for the rights of people. Spilling beans about his role, Raj told in an interview, “He is a family-oriented man who loves his family a lot. Later on, what he does for his sister in the movie is something you need to watch out for. It’s a brother-sister relationship shown in the film through my character and at the same time how much he loves his village and its people. He is an idealistic and lovable character who always protects his family and villagers

Sharing about what prompted him to take up the story, Raj Arjun said, “The very first reason to say yes was it’s a Malayalam film, and I wanted to work in the Malayalam industry since I was already working in Tamil and Telugu films. I wanted to explore Malayalam cinema as I know what content and stories they come up with, and working here will only enhance and increase my area of performance. So the moment I was offered this story I took it up.”

Raj Arjun says of his experience working in the Malayalam film industry: “It was truly terrific and a tremendous experience. I’ve watched a lot of Malayalam films, and I’m constantly impressed by the way they’re filmed, told stories, and performed. I, therefore, found it enjoyable to introduce myself to Malayalam cinema through this movie. Since all of my co-stars—Arjun Ashokan, Sharafudheen, Sreenath Bhasi, Aditi Ravi, and Dhruvan—are pros in the Malayalam film industry, we got along well with one another.

Raj Arjun recounts some of his best performances after working in several fields and playing a variety of roles and genres. Yes, he admitted, each and every part was unique and special to him, but he felt that there were some characters that would stick with him forever and hold a special place in his heart. Farooq from Secret Superstar, R.M. Vererappan from Thalaivi, Sai Baba from Sabka Sai, and then you’ll see me in Yudhra and one of my favorite Telugu periodic historical films are my five closest parts that I genuinely appreciate and cherish when I think about them.
