Noted Tamil actor Prabhu was admitted to hospital in Chennai. Reportedly, he was joined in a private hospital on February 20 after suffering severe stomach pain.
As per the reports, after initial medical tests the doctors found out that the senior actor was diagnosed with a kidney stone. Later, Prabhu underwent ureteroscopy laser surgery on February 22nd.
Media reports suggest that kidney stones were successfully removed through the surgery for Prabhu. Reportedly, Prabhu’s health condition is normal now and will be discharged form the hospital in the next 24 hours. The official press note released by the hospital management also says the same.
On the professional front, Prabhu was seen in the recently released Varisu/Vaarasudu in a key role. Made his silver screen debut as legendary Shivaji Ganeshan’s son, Prabhu dis lead actor roles in more than 200 films. Later, he shifted based as the character artist and has been doing films in Tamil and Telugu continuosly since then.
