Action Hero for Thalapathy67?

It is already reported that after wrapping up the shooting formalities for his ongoing film, Varisu under the direction of Tollywood director Vamshi Paidipally, Tamil hero will be collaborating with talented young director Lokesh Kanagaraj for a project. Tentatively titled Thalapathy 67, the film marks the second time collaboration of Vijay and Lokesh Kanagaraj after the 2021 film, Master.

As the Kollywood reports, the film is expected to go on floors in December 2022. Earlier news also came out that star hero Dhanush is approached for the antagonist role in the movie. Now, the latest buzz is that Lokesh Kanagaraj is keen on roping in hero Vishal for the antagonist role in Thalapathy 67. If Vishal is roped in for the main villain’s role, it will be interesting aspect to watch Vijay and Vishal locking horns on screen.

Initial reports suggest that Thalapathy 67 is going to be an underworld crime drama set in the Mumbai backdrop. Anirudh will be scoring soundtracks for this most-awaited movie. Earlier news came out that Samantha will be playing the female lead role in the movie but considering her current health condition, will she be a part of the film? Remains to be seen.
