Acharya Trailer: A Mega fight for righteousness

The much-awaited trailer of Mega Star Chiranjeevi’s upcoming film, Acharya, has been released today. Directed by Koratala Siva, the film features Ram Charan in a key role, while Kajal Aggarwal is the leading lady, and Pooja Hegde is paired opposite Ram Charan.

The trailer of the film starts off with Siddha’s character explaining about his town, Dharmasthali, and how no one should assume the people of his town are peaceful, simply because of its geography. It is clear from the trailer that the conflict of the movie starts when there’s an attack on righteousness. We get a few glimpses of Ram Charan in action before we cut to the entry of Chiranjeevi’s character. How his character finds himself in the village, and what threat he saves them from seems to form the rest of the story.

While the trailer, on the whole, is amazing, with spectacular visuals from the lens of cinematographer Thiru, the last few seconds of the trailer serve up a major eye feast for Mega fans, as we can see Chiranjeevi and Ram Charan working together, with each of them calling the other a comrade. This part also establishes that the Naxalite part of the story is only going to be a little, but that the major part of the story is going to be set in Dharmasthali. Tanikella Bharani, Ajay, Nasser, Sonu Sood and several others are also a part of this movie, for which Mani Sharma composed the music. Acharya is all set for a grand theatrical release on 29th April.
