Every filmmaker in Tollywood is currently seeking permissions from both the Telugu governments to increase ticket prices. This trend began after the AP government announced a major slash in ticket prices in the state. However, it didn’t die down even after Tollywood managed to convince the government to increase prices like many hoped it would.
It is already known that the makers of Acharya had already approached the AP government a few days ago, to request an increase in ticket prices. While the permission is still pending, if the permission is granted, then the ticket prices for Acharya in AP could be ₹206.5 for single screens and ₹236 for multiplexes, in cities. On the other hand, in Telangana, the prices could be ₹212.4 for single screens and ₹354 for multiplexes.
Acharya is directed by Koratala Siva and features Chiranjeevi in the lead role, while Ram Charan plays an important role in the film. This would mark the first time the father and son duo would be seen on the big screen together, as they have only been seen together in cameo roles so far.
