Megastar Chiranjeevi’s upcoming film, Acharya, directed by Koratala Siva, has been in the making for nearly 4 years now, having been delayed multiple times due to various reasons, including the coronavirus pandemic. After several delays, the film was announced to be released on February 4th this year but was delayed once again due to the spreading of Omicron.
It has now been announced that the film would be released on April 1st. As a result, it is being expected that Rajamouli’s RRR might arrive before Acharya, given that it’s always been how the release of these films was planned. Ram Charan will be seen alongside Chiru in a crucial role in the film, with Pooja Hegde all set to be seen opposite him in the film.
Kajal Aggarwal is the leading lady of the film, and Mani Sharma is the music director. Chiru wrapped shooting for Acharya quite some time ago and is currently busy with Bobby’s Waltair Veerraju. He also has Bhola Shankar and Godfather coming up.
