Megastar Chiranjeevi and Ram Charan’s social drama, Acharya had a worldwide release yesterday. Opened to poor reports, the film is struggling at the box office from morning shows itself.
As per the trade reports, Acharya has witnessed a share of Rs 7.9 crore from Chiranjeevi’s strong zone Nizam area. The first-day figure is an indication that Acharya going to have a tough path ahead. In Andhra and Rayalaseema regions, the film has witnessed an all-time low opening among the Tier-1 hero films, say reports.
Reportedly, Warangal Srinu who acquired the Nizam rights of the film will be losing close to Rs 20 crore from his investment.
