Acharya makers heading in a different route

There have been a lot of speculations about the release date of Megastar Chiranjeevi’s upcoming film Acharya, with several people saying that the makers have finalised December 17th as the release date of the film, and the official announcement of the same would be made on Wednesday. However, there hasn’t been any announcement on Wednesday, and now, the reasons behind this are coming out.

For one, the makers of Acharya were reportedly informed that it would be a bad idea to release the film ahead of RRR, and on the same date as the release of Allu Arjun’s Pushpa, as the film’s market would take a huge hit. While the makers are said to have considered releasing Acharya after the release of RRR, they have also been reportedly instructed that releasing two of Ram Charan’s films within three weeks isn’t a good idea.

As a result, the makers of Acharya are reportedly planning to release the film sometime in the first half of 2022. Kajal Aggarwal is the leading lady of Acharya, while Sonu Sood will be seen in a key role, along with Pooja Hegde, who is paired opposite Ram Charan in the film. Koratla Siva is the director of this film, whose music is composed by Mani Sharma.
