Acharya is the first film in Tollywood that has stalled the shoot due to the COVID-19 pandemic. It has stalled in March and hasn’t been resumed yet. Chiranjeevi has tried to resume the shoots in June but the rise in cases has made the team think otherwise. Now, according to the latest info, director Koratala Siva has been thinking to start the shoot from November. The situation is better in Telangana and the normalcy is slowly restoring. Acharya team is believing that the situation will be much better in November.
So, Koratala Siva had a meeting with Chiranjeevi recently and they both decided to resume the shoot from November. Koratala Siva is currently chalking out the schedules. More than 65 percent of the shoot is still left to be completed. The director has planned to complete the entire shoot by March next year.
Acharya will release in April 2020. Kajal Agarwal will be seen beside Chiranjeevi in this film.
