Acharya first Monday status

Megastar Chiranjeevi and Ram Charan’s social drama, Acharya under the direction of Koratala Siva had a theatrical release on April 29th. Opened to poor reports, the film failed miserably to generate revenues for the star stature of the father-son duo.

As per the reports, the film collected close to Rs 39 crore share from twin Telugu states during the first weekend. As per the fresh reports, Acharya literally crushed at the Telugu box office on Monday as it collected only Rs 50 lakh from the ticket windows.

As per the trade reports, the film’s pre-release business is done for Rs 140 crore and with the Monday collections, it is evident that Acharya is heading towards a double disaster at the box office.
