Acclaimed technician to work for Lokesh Kanagaraj’s next

Fresh after the success of Pongal released Master, young Kollywood director Lokesh Kanagaraj is gearing up to kick-start the shooting for his new film, Vikram from this month itself. Starring Universal hero Kamal Haasan in the lead role, the film is said to be a social drama and showcases a few burning issues in society.

Meanwhile, the latest news is that acclaimed Malayalam cinematographer Girish Gangadharan, who earlier cranked the camera for cult films like Angamaly Diaries and Jallikattu has been roped as the DOP for Vikram.

While Anirudh Ravichander is composing the music, Kamal Haasan himself is bankrolling the movie. More details regarding the project are awaited.
