Abhishek Bachchan Speaks Up On Constant Comparison With Wife Aishwarya Rai

Abhishek Bachchan has been in showbiz for nearly three decades, and ever since he married former Miss World Aishwarya Rai, he has been constantly compared to his globally celebrated star wife. Despite not achieving the same international recognition as her, Abhishek has learned to live with the comparisons.

The actor, in a recent interview with CNBC-TV18, spoke about whether being compared to his wife ever upset him. Abhishek replied, “It’s never going to get easy. But after 25 years of being asked the same question, I have become immune to it. If you are comparing me to my father, you are comparing me to the best.”

“If you are comparing me to the best, somewhere I believe that maybe I am worthy of being considered among these great names. I look at it like that. My parents are my parents, my family is my family, my wife is my wife, and I am immensely proud of them and their achievements and what they continue to do,” he added, expressing pride in his family.

Abhishek Bachchan has been in the headlines for the past few months over his alleged relationship with his Dasvi co-star, Nimrat Kaur. This also led to increased speculation online around the divorce between Abhishek and Aishwarya. However, the couple and the Bachchan family have not released any official statement regarding the matter.
