This turned out to be a sensational opportunity for the filmmakers down the South. Meanwhile, the latest reports suggest that Abhishek Bachchan is showing interest in a Telugu film titled, Aari.
Reportedly, the film is yet to release. But Abhishek Bachchan who happened to watch the film without proper background mixing is highly impressed with the concept of the film and decided to remake it in Hindi.
Directed by Jaya Shankar of Paper Boy fame, the film stars Anasuya Bharadwaj, Srikanth Iyengar, Saikumar, and Viva Harsha in prominent roles. Aari has Lord Krishna’s theme in the narrative, says inside sources. Jaya Shankar has a high chance to direct the Hindi version as well.
