Abbayitho Ammayi Palak signs debutant’s film

Actress Palak Lalwani’s box-office debut film ‘Abbayitho Ammayi’ was a major dud at the box office. But looks like the actress has not lost out on her popularity quotient just yet. The pretty starlet has agreed to star in director Trikoti’s (‘Dikkulu Choodaku Ramayya’ fame) upcoming film.

The movie, which is slated to be a romantic drama, features another newcomer Ranjith Somi who is a close relative of former minister Botsa Satyanaraya. The director has met this Mumbai girl recently to get her on board. “The director was looking for a really young girl to play the heroine,” say sources. Sources also reveal that Palak was quick to say ‘yes’ to the role. The film is supposed to go on floors in the next couple of months.
