Aarsha Chandini Baiju says acting has been her dream since school, and she takes every career step seriously.
This year, she made her Tamil debut with House Mates and was also seen in Mohanlal’s blockbuster Thudarum. She is happy her debut got positive feedback as good content is important when entering a new industry.
Her performance in Mukundan Unni Associates (2022) opened doors in Tamil cinema. In House Mates she played Darshan’s wife and praised him for being a supportive co-star especially when she faced language issues.
Aarsha prepared by writing dialogues in Malayalam or Tanglish, gradually improving her Tamil. She hopes to do comedy roles like Urvashi and Kalpana, as she enjoys fun sets.
Thudarum made her popular with family audiences, with many calling her ‘George sir’s daughter’. Aarsha admits choosing films is tough and sometimes stressful, but she is learning to balance instinct with careful decisions.
