Aamir Khan to star in another biopic

After Laal Singh Chaddha’s flop, it appears like Aamir Khan has finally decided what he is going to do next.

Aamir Khan, who is now on a self-imposed career break to spend more time with his family and likely plan his next big move, appears to have decided where he will devote his time and resources. According to recent rumours, Mr. Perfectionist has joined the Ujjwal Nikam biopic with renowned producer Dinesh Vijan. But will Aamir either produce or play the key role in the film?

According to recent reports, Aamir Khan is prepared to work with Yash Raj Films on a high-octane action movie, following in the footsteps of his competitor Shah Rukh Khan. However, nothing on this has been proven.

Returning to Aamir Khan’s upcoming big project, it has been reported that after his most recent film, Laal Singh Chaddha, failed badly, Aamir is reportedly joining Dinesh Vijan as a producer for the Ujjwal Nikam biography. A source spilled the beans about the situation, saying, “Aamir was introduced to the journey of Ujjwal Nikam in the pre-pandemic times, and he has been interested in bringing it to the spectacle ever since then.” The insider continued, “There have been several drafts of scripts written by multiple producer partners, but after all the discussions, Aamir is now on the verge of locking his association with Dinesh Vijan on the Ujjwal Nikam Biopic.”

The insider also suggested that the 3 Idiots actor had previously considered acting in a film, but that he will currently only be associated with it as a producer.

“The idea is to take it on floors in 2024 and the casting calls are expected to roll out from year-end,” said the source adding, “While Aamir was definitely considering to lead the biopic himself, one can’t say if it’s a film starring Aamir Khan or a production with another actor stepping in to play the lead at this point in time.”

Aamir Khan has reportedly been considering his next big action after Laal Singh Chaddha received negative reviews from the audience. He recently even quit the RS Prasanna-directed Campeones adaptation because he was unsure of the movie’s theme. Prasanna is known for his work on Shubh Mangal Saavdhan.

When it comes to his acting career, Aamir may work with Rajkumar Hirani on a film that might be a biopic of Indian cricketer Lala Amarnath.
