Aamir Khan recently addressed several sensitive issues. He spoke about the backlash he faced over old photos with Turkish President Erdogan and his wife clarifying that it was a courtesy visit during a trip and not a political meeting.
He said “When public figures travel, they often meet dignitaries as a gesture of goodwill. I didn’t know what Turkey would do later”.
Aamir strongly condemned religious hate and violence, saying that attacks on people based on religion hurt the country’s unity.
He also defended his support for the Indian Army and dismissed the idea that he was promoting a film while speaking for the armed forces.
He revealed that he delayed the trailer launch of Sitaare Zameen Par and canceled a film event after a tragic attack, out of respect.
Aamir supported those boycotting Turkey, calling their actions against India very wrong.
This’s Real Al-Taqiyya!
“I support ‘Boycott Turkey’. I’m very angry that we helped them & Turkey took Pakistan’s side.”
You really think Aamir Khan would’ve said this if his new film wasn’t releasing this month?
