Director Deva Katta, known for socially driven films, is now working on a political web series titled Mayasabha.
His last film Republic, starring Sai Dharam Tej was highly praised and remains one of the most respected political dramas in Tollywood.
Mayasabha is said to be inspired by the lives of AP CM Chandra Babu Naidu and former CM YS Rajasekhar Reddy two iconic leaders in Telugu politics.
Reports suggest that Aadhi Pinisetty is playing the role of CBN while Chaitanya Rao is playing YSR. However official confirmation on the casting is still awaited.
The series will run about 6 hours and 40 minutes and is currently in post-production. It is expected to stream in the final quarter of 2025.
