A wrap on CineMaa awards this year!

Baahubali: The Beginning and Srimanthudu both won a lot of awards at most award functions but this time, during CineMaa awards, it was Baahubali who won hands down. The movie bagged as many as 13 awards, including best movie, best director, best cinematographer (KK Senthil Kumar) and best actor in negative role (Rana Daggubati). Srimanthudu won only 5 awards– jury awards in best movie and best director (Koratala Siva) categories. The Mahesh Babu starrer flick won awards in best music director (Devi Sri Prasad), best editor (Kotagiri Venkateswara Rao) and special appreciation award (Rajendra Prasad).

Kanche, which was already a national award winner also got 5 awards- best story (Krish), best BGM (Chirantan Bhatt), special appreciation award (Krish), best debut actress (Pragya Jaiswal) and best lyric writer (Sirivennela Seetharama Sastry). The best actress award went to Anuskhka Shetty for Rudhramadevi. Allu Arjun and Charmi got jury awards in best actor and actress categories respectively.
