Khaidi No 150, the comeback movie of Megastar Chiranjeevi releasing for this week kick-starting the celebrations of Sankranthi in Telugu States. It is the first movie of Chiranjeevi after he entered politics and decided to stop acting for a considerable amount of time. The 150th movie might be the new start of his acting career simultaneously with political career. The movie team has been waiting to announce the arrival of Annayya, the Big Boss back to screen with a grand pre release function and every publicity campaign suggests that in bold letters, by acknowledging, BOSS IS BACK. On 7th January, 2017, Khaidi No 150, team held a grand function at Hailand, Guntur. To the function thousands of fans came to see a glance of their favourite stars and Megastar once again. The team released the theatrical trailer at the function.
The trailer was released by Dasari Narayana Rao, several ministers and Congress representatives also attended the function along with Ram Charan Tej, Naga Babu, Allu Arjun, Allu Shirish, Sai Dharam Tej, Varun Tej and T Subbirami Reddy. During the function all praised Chiranjeevi and his hardwork over the years. Allu Arjun, Sai Dharam Tej, Varun Tej wished him and the team all the best. Chiranjeevi talking at the function, thanked Vijay, Murugadoss for giving him the rights. He thanked elaborately each and every member who helped him to reach the position he enjoys today. He also thanked Allu Aravind for organising such a big function. He thanked VV Vinayak and Devi Sri Prasad for their efforts wishing for their future endeavors and hoped the movie to be a great hit. He also wished Balakrishna, Sharwanand and R Narayana Murthy success for their releases during the Sankranthi.
But with all the grandness and blessings of the fans, the function also became a heart of new controversy that should have been easily avoided. Naga Babu feeling hurt about the comments made by many concentrating on Khaidi No 150 being a remake. Carried away by the emotion he made some unhealthy comments regarding famous writer Yandamuri Veerendrananth, who talked about Ram Charan Tej at a college lecture and famous Director, Ram Gopal Verma for his twitter commentary. He called him Akkupakshi and attacked him with harsh words about his movies. Owing to being eccentric and diabolical, Ram Gopal Verma first tweeted a sorry in Telugu and then started his attack in his popular style by taking it personal. It was evident that he was severely hurt by the words used by Naga Babu and many thought he has taken it too far by calling him haplessly dependent on his brother. Well this kind of unhealthy controversy during such a happy occasion makes it unnecessarily controversial and malign the image of the parties involved.
