Simran who once ruled Telugu and Tamil cinema in the early 2000s with several blockbusters opposite top heroes but never got to act with Rajinikanth during her peak.
That chance finally came in 2019 with the film Petta. Today while Simran has moved on to playing mother roles, Rajinikanth still leads films, though without romantic tracks.
Recently, Simran earned appreciation for her role in Tourist Family, while Rajinikanth scored a hit with Coolie.
She visited the Superstar at his home, where they shared warm conversations and took pictures.
Calling the meeting ‘timeless’, Simran said it felt extra special as both were celebrating career successes together.
