Producer Naga Vamsi had earlier said that Indian films sent to Gulf countries for censorship and release are often at risk of piracy leaks.
Keeping this in mind the makers of Lenin reportedly did not release the film in the UAE or send it there for censorship.
So far, no piracy issues have been reported and many people in the film industry are praising Naga Vamsi’s decision.
If this strategy has really helped stop piracy it could become a useful plan for other big Telugu films in the future.
Many believe this approach may help protect movies from illegal leaks before or during their theatrical run.
