Natural Star Nani’s latest release, Tuck Jagdish, directed by Siva Nirvana, was released directly on Amazon Prime on September 9th, making it the actor’s second film to get a direct OTT release after V, directed by Mohan Krishna Indraganti. There were good expectations on the film, given that it’s the second film between Nani and Siva, who previously delivered a blockbuster success in the form of Ninnu Kori.
Upon release though, Tuck Jagdish has attracted a lot of criticism and negative reviews, mainly aimed at its slow pace, weak screenplay and less than impressive background score. Nani hasn’t been able to deliver a proper success in quite some time now. His last successful film was MCA, barring Jersey, and that film was released a long time ago. As a result of Tuck Jagdish’s failure, the actor is now said to be very careful about his upcoming projects.
On the other hand, director Siva Nirvana also seems to be in a tight spot, with his upcoming projects put in a fix due to the failure of Tuck Jagdish. Siva recently narrated a script to Vijay Deverakonda, and the actor showed interest in the project as well, but the project now is said to be in trouble, with Vijay being wary after Tuck’s result.
