Manchu Vishnu should be called the real Luckunnodu of the Telugu Film Industry, irrelevant to his films being hits or flops at box office he finds producers to work with him else he produces for himself. The confidence that he carries on himself is something that his father Manchu Mohan Babu would be proud off. In his early days, even Mohan Babu was equally resolute to find a box office success as a lead actor while he had a blossoming career as a supporting actor. Well, he found his answers with remakes in early 90’s and may be Vishnu needs to find something that works for him over a period of time.
He had been shifting between genres early in his career trying to be the quintessential mass hero and then tried few complete action entertainers. But he found success with action comedies and tried to stick to them for longer time. They seem to be working for him but with Luckunnodu not even receiving a decent opening, the actor seems to have changed his approach to find something new that works for him again.
Now, the strong buzz is that he is looking to change his path a bit for his next film. He is working with the director of Seethamma Andalu Ramayya Sithralu, Srinivas Gavireddy. For this project he is trying to adapt a novel, Meda Mida Abbayi and this is said to be a romantic entertainer it seems. Even though the proposal was lying on his table from long, he is taking major interest now as he was busy before with the line up of his numerous films. The movie is at this point of time in planning stage and sooner could go on floors but even the insiders are not sure about when they can go ahead with the shooting.
