The coronavirus pandemic has certainly made one thing clear, that finances are not the same as before, and things are going to be much costlier. With everything having become more expensive than it used to be, filmmaking has also changed dramatically.
Budgets are being increased for every film, and top actors are running behind pan-Indian stardom, vehicle other actors are trying their luck in the neighboring states. With that being said, the situation has become such that the high budgets are taking a heavy toll on the audience, as the producers are increasing the ticket prices drastically.
Increasing the ticket prices has turned out to be a disaster for producers, in total contrast to what they had expected, as the footfalls at theatres have dropped beyond imagination. If a proper resolution is not taken regarding the finances, then it would turn out to be a major cause for concern in the coming years.
