Raashi Khanna has officially joined Rajinikanth’s upcoming film Dharman, which was announced today.
Directed by Ashwath Marimuthu, the movie has already generated excitement with its first look poster featuring Rajinikanth in a unique “Deadly Doctor” avatar.
The film’s press meet was held in Chennai, where Raashi Khanna was present alongside the team.
While Simran is reportedly playing the main female lead, industry sources say Raashi’s role is not just a supporting one and will have a significant impact on the story.
The film could become an important milestone in her Tamil cinema career. Though she has appeared in several Tamil films she has been waiting for a high profile project to strengthen her position in Kollywood for sure. A Rajinikanth film offers exactly that opportunity.
